The first indoor hockey game was played in Montreal in 1875. Since then, men and women have brought speed and grace and strength to the ice. Hockey. There is just no game like it. The instantaneous switch from offense to defense. The genius of a Gretzky - hockey’s greatest player - weaving his way in and between defenders to find an inch of daylight and with a flick of his wrist, sending the puck past the goalie and home.

Hockey came to the U.S. in 1893, but unfortunately some of us are still behind a lot of the world in recognizing the extraordinary beauty & physicality of the game.
